IPL 2025 Thriller: KKR Clinch a Nail-Biter Against DC in High-Scoring Showdown!

In a thrilling contest at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on 29th April 2025, the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) overcame the Delhi Capitals (DC) by 14 runs in a must-win match to stay alive in the playoff race. First Innings: KKR come out firing! KKR won the toss and chose to bat first, and managed to put a healthy total of 204/9 in 20 overs. The innings was aggressive in nature from KKR batters and  although they lost wickets consistently throughout their innings, they maintained a run-rate that kept the asking from the hosts at a huge figure, with well-timed blows from the batters setting a very difficult asking total for the hosts. Second Innings: DC try hard but falls short: Delhi Capitals put up a strong effort in response to the very good total,  finishing their innings at 190/9 in 20 overs.
