RCB's Dominant Display Ends CSK's Home Streak at Chepauk

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) put up a commanding performance at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, hammering 50 runs past Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and finally breaking their duck after 17 years at Chepauk. RCB's Innings: RCB, who batted first, scored a strong 196/7. Under the leadership of skipper Rajat Patidar, who fortuitously had a half-century, it resisted well. Phil Salt made a brisk 56 and there were contributions from Rajat Patidar (34) and Liam Livingstone (15 not out) which helped RCB make a competitive score. CSK's Response: CSK's chase of 197 fell short under the disciplined bowling from RCB. Playing at home, the team was unable to find momentum and kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Ravindra Jadeja made 25 in a 19-ball innings before being caught by Phil Salt off Josh Hazlewood's bowling.
